RARE ROMANO-EGYPTIAN BLUE GLASS TRAY WITH FISH.
Roman Period, Ca. 30 BC - AD 200. A cobalt blue glass tray with pairs of fish forming the terminals at each short end, rectangular in plan with a flat recessed well and gently splayed walls bordered by a narrow rim. The fish are rendered in profile with overlapping scales, notched fins and stepped tails. Comes in the presentation box shown.
