AMAZING ROMAN TRANSPARENT GLASS DISH WITH FISH MOTIF.
Ca. AD 300 - 400.
A transparent glass dish of shallow, open form with a gently everted rim and a low, circular foot. The interior is decorated with a continuous frieze of incised fish swimming in a clockwise circuit, each fish with a slender body, forked tail, and short fins.
