COLLECTION OF ROMAN GLASS UNGUENTARIA. Ca. AD 1 - 200. A collection of five glass unguentaria, including, from left to right: a squat cosmetic jar of spool profile with a broad flat everted rim above a tubular neck set on a domed lower body; a smaller jar of the same type with a wide mouth over a waisted neck; a drop-shaped bottle with a tapering ovoid body, a cylindrical neck, and an out-turned rim; a low jar with an expansive flat rim, a concave neck, and a low rounded base; and a large bottle with a generous pear-shaped body rising to a tall cylindrical neck finished with a rounded lip.
