COLLECTION OF ROMAN GLASS UNGUENTARIA.
Ca. AD 1 - 200.
A collection of five glass unguentaria, including, from left to right: a bottle with a compressed globular body, a tall straight neck, and a rounded lip; a slender example with an elongated drop-shaped body rising to a long cylindrical neck capped by a folded rim; a flask with a piriform body, a short collar, and a plain out-turned mouth; a tall vessel with a tapering body, an extended neck with a slight median constriction, and a broad rim; and a bottle with a spherical body, a narrow tubular neck, and a lightly flared mouth.
