FINE ROMAN HIGH KARAT GOLD SCROLL PENDANT. Ca. AD 1 - 300. A high-carat gold tubular scroll pendant of elongated hexagonal section. The ends are neatly crimped and the upper face fitted with two ribbed suspension tubes, each decorated with a tight cluster of fine granules. For similar see: Dumbarton Oaks, BZ.1956.12.
