ROMAN HEAVY GOLD RING WITH HUNTING HOUND. Ca. AD 200 - 300. A gold ring with an eye-shaped bezel engraved with a hunting hound within a raised border. The bezel is integral with angular shoulders, and the solid hoop of rounded section tapers gradually towards the back. For similar see: The Beazley Archive, Record Number: 40009401.
