ROMAN BRONZE BOOT-SHAPED VOTIVE VESSEL. Ca. AD 1 - 300. A bronze boot-shaped votive vessel. The body modelled as a high ankle boot with a pointed toe and a pronounced central seam. Integral loop attachments secure a chain, and the sole is fitted with square hobnails. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1867,0508.368.
