RARE ROMANO-CELTIC BRONZE HORSE FIGURINE.
Ca. AD 1 - 200.
A cast bronze horse figurine shown advancing with the right foreleg raised, the head turned slightly to the side, the ears pricked, and the muzzle defined. The mane is rendered in long, ridged locks along the crest of the neck, the tail drawn down. The animal stands on an integral rectangular base.
