PAIR OF ROMAN GOLD EARRINGS WITH DANGLES. Ca. AD 1 - 300. A pair of gold earrings, each with a circular hoop of round section and a short vertical drop tightly wrapped with gold wire, terminating in a small loop. The drops are strung with two beads: an upper bead of polygonal section and a lower globular bead. For similar see: F. H. MARSHALL, M.
