COLLECTION OF ROMAN AND BYZANTINE EARRING AND OPENWORK PENDANTS.

A collection of gold earring and openwork pendants, including from left to right: a teardrop-shaped openwork pendant framed by a beaded border with paired circular piercings and scrolling tendrils below a rounded suspension eye and granule terminal; a small hoop earring with a sliding ovoid bulla and a pendent cluster of fine granules; and a globular openwork pendant of cage construction formed from intersecting annular ribs.
