ETRUSCAN CARNELIAN SCARAB WITH GRIFFON IN GOLD RING. Ca. 500 BC. A carnelian scarab engraved with a striding griffon with raised wing within an oval field, mounted in a gold swivel ring of a possibly later period, with a rounded-section hoop.
