A silver jug on an elevated, flaring foot with an ovoid body swelling at the midsection and tapering towards a plain, slightly everted rim. A single cast handle, formed as a striding lion with a sculpted head and slender body, rises from the shoulder. Size: 155mm x 140mm; Weight: 470g Provenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1980s; This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
