Late 17th century – 18th century An important set of three tapestries known as ‘verdures’ Featuring wooded landscapes brought to life by a village, streams, wading birds and an animal. Woven in wool and silk. Dimensions: approx. 277 x 120 cm, approx. 263 x 156 cm, approx. 268 x 183 cm Note: The three tapestries were restored in 2010 by the workshop of the Tournai Tapestry Museum, now known as TAMAT. The expert report drawn up by the Tournai Tapestry Museum is enclosed.
