Pablo PICASSO (1881–1973) Salomé, 1905. Drypoint on paper. Signed and dated ‘Picasso 1905’ on the plate in the top right-hand corner. 40 x 35 cm (image size), 58 x 47 cm (sheet size). Plate from the ‘Suite des Saltimbanques’. A print probably from the Japanese paper edition published by Ambroise Vollard in Paris in 1913, of which 27 or 29 copies were printed alongside the edition of 250 on Van Gelder paper.
