André HALLET (1890–1959) View of a Mediterranean bay, oil on panel, signed lower left. 47 x 57 cm. Note: This work belongs to André Hallet’s European period, during which the artist stayed in the south of France and in Italy. He worked notably in Provence, the Camargue and Marseille, then in Capri and Taormina, seeking in these southern landscapes the effects of light that characterised his painting at that time.
