Frans Wiro (F.W.) van Hinsberg was a well-known Belgian blacksmith and iron artist from Damme, who was primarily active in the 1950s and 1960s. He mainly created small artisanal pieces such as unique candlesticks, decorative vases, and cigar boxes, but also undertook larger projects. For instance, his wrought ironwork was also integrated into larger architectural projects. A well-known preserved example is the central entrance hall with staircase in Cruydenhove Castle (Oostkamp).
