Christian Fischer, a large floral vase with the Suffering Christ, gilded porcelain, Pirkenhammer, Bohemia, 1846-1857. Gilded porcelain, Vieux Paris style. Decorated with a hand-painted depiction of the Suffering Christ, Ecce Homo. Richly finished with gilded decoration of floral motifs and the Instruments of the Passion. Marked CF for Christian Fischer (1801-1892), Pirkenhammer, Bohemia/Czech Republic, period 1846-1857. Bohemia, mid-19th century.
