In 1857, Gustave Keller founded a goldsmith's workshop specializing in travel trunks, solid gold and silver tableware, and other luxury items. The firm quickly gained recognition and won numerous medals and top prizes at the World Exhibitions of 1867, 1878, 1889, and 1900. His creations stood out for their modernity and became world-famous. Gustave Keller became a purveyor to the most prestigious courts of Europe (Spain, Russia, Monaco, Romania, Greece, ...).
