Wood, glass, and wax.Four wax sculptures, models, or molds depicting childhood diseases: Diphtheria, Herpes zoster, Varicella, and Urticaria.Finished with glass eyes.Published by the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum in Dresden, based on molds from before 1911.Marked with the Gütezeichen S (quality mark S), which was used in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) for products that met high quality standards.Germany, Dresden, circa 1945-1960.
