Description
Skeleton clock with apparent Pons-type 14-day movement, with enamel peripheral counting wheel. Rack and pinion chimes strike the hours and quarter hours on two bells. The whole is supported by a Gothic-style column resting on a blackened wooden base and protected by a glass globe. The movement bears the inscriptions: "EXTRAFIN Potonié Léon Établisseemnt", "P. Bly", "Médaille d'or Pons 1827", and the number 1400. French work from the mid-19th century. H_29 cm (without base) W_17 cm D_15 cm D_9 cm With pendulum, key and stamp. Accidents (base and bell).
