Description
Skeleton clock with apparent Pons-type 14-day movement, with enamel peripheral counting wheel. Rack and pinion chimes strike the hours and quarter hours on two bells. The whole is supported by a Gothic-style column resting on a blackened wooden base and protected by a glass globe.
The movement bears the inscriptions: "EXTRAFIN Potonié Léon Établisseemnt", "P. Bly", "Médaille d'or Pons 1827", and the number 1400.
