Morocco, Safi, 20th century. A circular ceramic dish with a lustrous glaze, decorated with a radiating geometric pattern centred on a flower, featuring successive motifs of blue, green and yellow geometric symbols. The rim is highlighted by a broad blue line. A technique characteristic of pieces produced in the 1930s. H_14.5 D_34 cm. Minor chips. Provenance: Collection brought back from the countryside by General Maurice Burtaire, Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, and has remained in his family to this day.
