THREE PAIRS OF CURTAINS, embroidered replicas in the Restoration style, circa 1950, made of champagne-coloured silk satin embroidered with multicoloured chenille thread; the design is faithful to the model described above for two of the pairs, whilst the third lacks the upper border. Commissioned for the Count of Chambrun’s flat on Place du Palais Bourbon. Quilted and lined, approximately 374 x 95 cm and approximately 375 x 110 cm. Damage: two linings have been removed; partial discolouration.
