LARGE LINEN DAMASK TABLE CLOTH, probably for a wedding, early 19th century, the centre featuring a bouquet of tulips, roses, ferns, grasses and other flowers set against a background of flowering branches. Wide border decorated with a garland of foliage and vine shoots, punctuated by bowls of pears and pomegranates and four wicker baskets containing chicks in the spandrels. Centre embroidered with two adjoining count’s crowns (in fine condition), 388 x 218 cm. Slight stains.
