Plaster FRONTON of Tregranteur Castle, depicting the combined coats of arms of the BONIN family (Azure, a fess Or, accompanied by three maiden’s heads Argent, with dishevelled hair Or) and the SAINT-PERN family (Azure, ten hollow silver billets arranged 4, 3, 2 and 1) on a cut-out leather motif framed by palm leaves and surmounted by a crown.

René-Jean BONIN (1712–1769), Lord of LA VILLEBOUQUAIS, PORHOËT and TREGRANTEUR, Councillor at the Parliament of Brittany from 1737 to 1769. He had the Château de Trégranteur built in 1750. He married Françoise de SAINT-PERN (1720–1787) on 23 August 1740 in Guitté, at the Château de Couëllan. They had nine children, including Bertrand-Jean-Marie BONIN de LA VILLEBOUQUAIS (1741–1812), a councillor and later President of the Investigations Committee at the Parliament of Brittany.
