Description
Jules Claude ZIEGLER (1804–1856) – VOISINLIEU Pottery (Oise, Beauvais) Amphora-shaped salt-glazed stoneware vase with two handles, resting on a circular footring; decorated with plant motifs in reserved areas on the body and perforated on the handles, which join a long, flared neck. H.: 45 cm. Distortion and firing defects. A similar piece can be found at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
