Attributed to Henriette Adélaïde du Bouchet de Sourches de Tourzel, Duchess of Charost (1765–1837) View from my seat by the fireplace at Groussaye, 16 November MDCCCXIX. Watercolour over pencil lines. 11.5 x 11 cm Groussay Castle: Built by the Duchess of Charost in 1815, she welcomed her mother, the Duchess of Tourzel, to live there; the latter died there in 1832. In 1938, Charles de Biestegui acquired it and carried out numerous and celebrated renovations.
