Silver mountings, hallmarked, decorated with dogs and birds in medallions. Walnut cheek-rest stock, carved with a bearded man’s head, partly checkered. Wooden stock with horn and iron end caps. With a double-sheath bayonet, blade featuring a back and a counter-cut. ABE circa 1840 (signs of wear, pitting, knocks to the muzzles).
