ACHILLE & PIER GIACOMO CASTIGLIONI RR 126 radio-phonograph. Plywood veneered in walnut, Plexiglas, cast aluminium. Manufactured by Brionvega, c. 1965. 74 x 122 x 37 cm A RADIO BY A. & P. CASTIGLIONI S. Polano, Achille Castiglioni. The Complete Works, Electa, 2001, p. 22. In good overall condition. Minor scratches, slight scuffs, normal signs of wear. Metal with a patina. Slight oxidation. Negligible imperfections in the veneer. The radio switches on and lights up, but the AM/FM functions and the record player are not working. A general overhaul of the unit is recommended in order to check and restore its overall correct functioning.
