FONTANA ARTE Lantern. Brass, painted metal, pressed glass. Manufacturer’s label. Italy, late 1930s. 67 x 26 x 15 cm A LANTERN BY FONTANA ARTE Very good condition. Scratches, signs of wear. Slight oxidation. Paint may have been touched up over time. Minor chips on the edges of the glass panes where they meet the metal fittings, not visible when assembled. The inner opal glass panes have probably been replaced.
