CARLO RIZZARDA (attributed to) Suspension lamp. Lacquered and patinated wrought iron, opal glass. Italy, 1920s. approx. 90x45x45 cm A CEILING LAMP ATTRIBUTED TO C. RIZZARDA See: Carlo Rizzarda ferri d’arte, Catalogue, Milan, n.d., models 69, 211; *Carlo Rizzarda 1883–1931 and the Art of Wrought Iron in Italy*, edited by P. Zugni-Tauro, self-published, Feltre 1987, pp. 173, 174, examples with similar characteristics. Good condition. Signs of age, scratches, scuffs and loss of colour on the lacquer finish. Electrical cable replaced. Minor chips on the edge of the glass where the metal fittings are attached, not visible when mounted.
