Description
CARLO SCARPA (ATTRIBUTED TO ) Suspension lamp. Nickel-plated metal, clear zanfirico glass, fluted glass. Probably produced by Venini, Murano, 1930s. approx. 75 cm x 25 cm diameter. A CEILING LAMP ATTRIBUTED TO C. SCARPA See: M. Barovier (ed.), Venini Luce 1921–1985, Milan, Skira; Le Stanze del Vetro, 2022, p. 154, similar model. Good condition. Some wear to the nickel plating and minor scratches on the metal parts. Minor scratches and slight chipping on the stem, and negligible chipping on the rim of the sphere where the metal fittings join; these are not visible when the lamp is mounted. Ceiling fitting missing.
