ETTORE SOTTSASS Modular system from the Cubirolo series. Lacquered wood, plastic. Manufactured by Poltronova, c. 1966. Manufacturer’s label. In this configuration: 235 x 315 x 48 cm A MODULAR SYSTEM OF CABINETS BY E. SOTTSASS Domus no. 456, November 1967, (supplement); Pier Carlo Santini, Facendo mobili con, Artigraf Edizioni, 1977, p. 93. In good overall condition. Minor scratches, slight scuffs, normal signs of wear. Minor missing parts. The opening mechanism for the horizontal drawers needs servicing. Two screws on the plastic handles are glued in place. Comes with an additional rectangular base.
