GUSTAVO PULITZER FINALI Albaro armchair. Painted tubular metal frame, mahogany-veneered plywood, fabric upholstery. Manufactured by Arflex in the 1950s. 84x69x53 cm; seat height with cushion 43 cm AN ARMCHAIR BY G. PULITZER FINALI R. Aloi, Mobili Tipo, Hoepli, Milan 1956; unnumbered page; I. De Guttry, M. P. Maino, Italian Furniture of the 1940s and 1950s, Laterza, Bari 1992–2010, p. 85. Wooden parts have been re-polished; original old fillings and minor repairs remain. Fabric and upholstery have been replaced over time. There are areas where the varnish on the frame is missing. Oxidation is visible on the frame.
