SAINT-LOUIS SET OF FIVE BLOWN CRYSTAL CHAMPAGNE GLASSES WITH FLORAL DECOR, CIRCA 1925–1930 ‘Callot’ model, created in 1925 Venetian-style decoration featuring an upper frieze gilded with 24-carat fine gold on a vermiculated background. Flared bowl adorned with leaf scrolls gilded with a wheel and polychrome enamelled floral motifs in slight relief. Clear crystal stem, circular base accented with a double gilded line. H. 8.5 cm Model predating 1936, a period when Saint-Louis used water-soluble paper labels rather than an engraved signature.
