K. LINKE PAIR OF RUSSIAN CUT CRYSTAL DECANTERS WITH GILDED SILVER MOUNTING Konstantin Linke, probably for the Bolin Company, Purveyor to the Court of His Imperial Majesty, Saint Petersburg, before 1897 cut crystal, silver, gilded silver, engraved, cast Hallmarks: silver hallmark ‘84’, coat of arms of the city of St Petersburg, maker’s mark ‘KL’ (for Konstantin Linke) H. 14 cm Konstantin Linke, owner of a workshop in Moscow, worked for the firm ‘K.E. Bolin’, purveyor to the Court of His Imperial Majesty of the Russian Empire. This pair was probably made by Konstantin Linke for the Bolin firm, where he worked alongside his mother and brother, thus continuing the family tradition.
