Description
Louis VUITTON.
A rare trunk comprising two separate parts. Both parts are made of wood and lined with black coated canvas.
Each side of the lid is reinforced by two wooden and brass crossbars. The top of the lid is adorned with an oval studded inlay. The two side panels of the lid are fitted with thick leather handles. The edges are protected by brass corner pieces (sheet brass).
The hidden section rests on a base with iron reinforcements. The seat is reinforced with wooden and iron slats. The signature appears in five places on the trunk, including underneath the seat. Straps made of natural cowhide. Leather label present. A completely original piece that has not undergone any alterations or cleaning treatments.
