Jean LURÇAT (1892-1966) & ATELIER SANT VICENS - PERPIGNAN Pitcher known as the "Claude Vase", model created circa 1956, in terracotta with a shouldered ovoid body and a curved neck with a detached side handle set on a ring heel. Decorated with brown enamelled stylised plants surrounded by ochre on a yellow background (small lack of enamel around the neck, rubbing and chips on the reverse). Marked drawing JLurçat and Sant-Vicens AI 35/100 on reverse. Height Height : 30 cm Historical background: - A similar model numbered 81/100 is currently in the collections of the Musée d'art Hyacinthe Rigaud in Perpignan (inv. no. 2020.5.2).
