Description
MAJORELLE Frères – Piece attributed to Alfred LÉVY (1872–1955). Sideboard with back panel in rosewood veneer and wrought iron. The front opens via two side doors and features two central recesses surmounted by two drawers. The side panels and the back panel each feature a decorative motif in ornate, patinated wrought iron set against a background of American glass (one pane missing). The drawer handles are also in patinated wrought iron. Circa 1925–1928. Signed ‘Majorelle Nancy’ on the side. Height: 150 cm – Length: 131 cm – Depth: 40 cm. Minor imperfections to the veneer.
