Description
A chiselled and gilded bronze wall sconce, decorated with lion’s muzzles, a female mask, water leaves and vases, topped with a profile of King Louis XVI. The circular dial is enamelled white with black Arabic and Roman numerals; the movement is signed ‘Dufaud Paris’ and numbered 672 (probably refitted, with the bezel replaced).
Partly from the Louis XVI period.
