Description
A mahogany and moulded mahogany-veneered ‘Bonheur du jour’ cabinet, opening via a waist drawer surmounted by a dark-coloured stepped section featuring a folding mirror framed by freestanding columns. The front uprights are tapered columns and the rear ones are pilasters, joined by a concave cross-section shelf resting on four baluster legs (showing wear and missing sections; partly sun-faded). Gilded bronze rings and capitals; the top is of grey marble with white veining.
