We would like to thank Sophie GUÉRIN GASC, a member of the Scientific Committee of the Dom Robert Museum, for informing us that the design was created by Dom Robert in 1990 in collaboration with the weaver Marc Téhéry (who had set up his own workshop with his wife Catherine Fink, after working with Raymond Novion).
Six copies of this design were woven: the first three by the Fink-Téhéry workshop in Aubusson, and the last three – numbers 4, 5 and 6 – were subcontracted to the weaver Janine Dassonval.
The woven pieces were subsequently sold by Robert Four.
