Colombia. A rare depiction of a female shaman wearing a tall headdress modelled on the shape of a sacred Poporo vessel, surmounted by a precious spoon-shaped stick (lime-dipper). Tumbaga-type alloy. Height approx. 11 cm. Approx. 99 g. Presumed copper-gold alloy. Composition undetermined. The Poporo, made of precious metal, is used in magical and religious ceremonies.
