Description
Collectors’ fossils. Large iridescent ammonite. Cleoniceras. 110 million years old. Length approx. 10.5 cm. Weight approx. 270 g. Carefully selected. A rare fossil of this size and quality. The shimmering, predominantly red iridescence, which is highly sought-after, is caused by the degradation of aragonite during the fossilisation of cephalopods. Beautiful iridescence.
