CRISTALLERIE DU CREUSOT. A freestanding calvary in cut crystal with an inlaid sulphide decoration depicting the Virgin and Child. The piece is surmounted by a cross. 19th century. H. 20.5 cm. A small chip at the base. A Calvary dated around 1820, employing the same techniques of cut crystal and sulphide inlay, can be found on page 73 of the book *La manufacture de Cristaux du Creusot 1786–1832* by Viviane Quartarone, Les Nouvelles Editions du Creusot.
