CRISTALLERIE DU CREUSOT. Set of oil carafes in moulded and cut crystal with a diamond and leaf motif, and moulded mushroom-shaped stoppers. Silver-plated metal mount with a four-legged base in the shape of a lion’s paw. 19th century. Crystal height 25 cm. Base height: 33 cm. A similarly inspired design can be found on page 36 of the book *La Manufacture de Cristaux du Creusot 1786–1832* by Viviane Quartarone, published by Les Nouvelles Editions du Creusot.
