Description
CRISTALLERIE DU CREUSOT. Cylindrical carafe with moulded drapery decoration. ‘Restauration’ model, circa 1830. Height: 23 cm. No stopper. This draped design is reproduced on page 53 of the book *La Manufacture de cristaux du Creusot 1786–1832* by Viviane Quartarone, published by Les nouvelles éditions du Creusot. It features a photograph of a fruit bowl dated around 1830, displaying the same drapery design as our carafe.
