Belgium Luxury spindle revolver by Bayet Frères Curved stock, steel cap with ring, (with surface discolouration and missing sections) bronzed steel frame with gold floral decoration (faded in places); smooth 6-shot cylinder, also engraved and decorated in gold, fluted then round barrel engraved with ‘BAYET FRERES’ on the left-hand side, iron ramrod with a nail-head tip, calibre approximately 11 mm, single and double action, oxidised, in a two-compartment case lined with red velvet (faded by sunlight); the ammunition box is missing; the company operated under the name ‘Bayet frères’ between 1867 and 1885. 25 cm Case approx. 15 x 30 x 6, key missing
