Théophile-Alexandre STEINLEN (Lausanne 1859 - Paris 1923). Gare Régulatrice (1916). Etching, soft varnish and aquatint, on Hollande Van Gelder laid paper. Copy 42/200 (64 x 49 cm). Part of his work consists of war sketches made during the First World War. Steinlen went to the front twice, in 1915 and 1917.
