‘Dragons, fish, geometric and floral motifs, bands and fleurs-de-lis’
A large, bursiform bowl with a multi-lobed rim.
Made from slightly smoked glass; the numerous decorative motifs, which spiral round and are distributed across the glass body, are executed in full-coverage hard enamels and fired-on gold.
The rim is rubbed with gold.
1880s.
Signed and marked ‘E. GALLÉ Nancy’, engraved beneath the base.
