KOELLIKER Oscar (1882–?) “Scene of Forgiveness in Brittany” Very large oil on canvas, signed lower left. 94 x 129 cm. Some flaking and a small chip in the paint. Oscar Koelliker was a painter of landscapes (mainly of Brittany), seascapes, interiors and portraits. Originally from Switzerland, he exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants (1907, 1910, 1912), the Société des Artistes Français (1908–1914), the Société Nationale (1908–1909 –1920), at the 9th National Exhibition in Basel (1908) and the 10th in Zurich (1910)
